Default Phone apps for MST's

Hey all -- with the smart phone technology getting better and better and more of us getting iPhones, Droids, HTC phones, etc ... does anyone have a really good app that they use for work on one of the above phones? I was thinking we could start compiling a list of useful phone apps for MST's like conversion apps, calculators, etc ....

Anyone out there using their smartphone to help them at work?

Thumbs up Re: Phone apps for MST's

AeroWeather and NOAA's NWS App are two of my most used App's for my iPhone. AeroWeather won't do ya much good though if you don't care about TAF's and METARs.

The NWS would be a good one to have for those in the field, however.

AppBox Pro is pretty good for conversion apps/calculators. There are also some apps for hazmat. Placard Plus is the DOT guide book.

Hazref 2008 (the ERG), and TideApp are really good iphone apps. I think each is about $5 but well worth the money!

Here is what I use. I highly recommend the Navionics app, it's all charts and tides and you can insert photos (SCAT). HazRef 2008 is awesome, it combines 49 CFR with a ERG
