Just make sure the sleeping bag is well hidden during the day. I definitely second bringing a pillow! I hated the "crunchy" pillow that was issued to me. The afternoon we were finally allowed off base I made a bee-line for Target to buy a comfortable pillow.

everyone i know talks trash about yorktown, but i loved it out there. i am a huge history buff and i loved going to all the historical sites (I'm from iowa, so i grew up with nowhere historically significant to go).

Plus, Busch Gardens is fun.
